We work on what happens between people.
For years, Culture Check has worked with organizations to make the experience of working together better.
Culture Check was built around the experience of working together.
- How do we make working together better?
- How do we make it more effective?
- How do we help more people contribute?
Why was changing how we worked together so difficult?
The more rooms we worked in,
the more the same pattern kept showing up.
Different rooms. Same pattern.
Capable people. Working hard. Trying to make progress with each other.
And still getting stuck.
We saw it in nonprofits, startups, government, private industry, community organizations, and groups of every size.
Why do capable people struggle to move forward together?
We struggle to work together when we can’t move together.
Organizations change policies, structures, training, and ways of working to help people work better together. Those things can matter.
But if the way people move together stays the same, the same patterns keep coming back.
Working together is what we’re trying to do.
Moving together is what makes it possible.
We stopped looking at the people.
We started looking at the space between them.
That space is our shared connection.
